The article reviews the life and work of the most eminent physicists working in Ljubljana in the time of abolition of jesuit order in 1773. Their key contribution was the domination of Boškovič's physics in Ljubljana. • Raziskali smo življenjsko pot in dela najpomembnejših ljubljanskih fizikov ob času ukinitve jezuitskega reda leta 1773. Njihov pomemben dosežek je bil predvsem dolgoročni sprejem BoškoviCeve fizike v Ljubljani. Podrobneje obravnavamo njihove opise vakuuma, flogistona, kalorika, luminiscence in severnega sija, opazovanje prehoda Venere čez ploskev Sonca leta 1761, hidrotehniko ter pedagoško delo.
