Baroque sermon in Slovene language was created by monks. When they were proclaiming the Gospel, monks were given basic guidance according to monastic rules by order province, on the other hand, the province firmly embedded them into Slovenian lands and continually relocated them to other areas. Specific monastic vision of Gospel message or order charisma on one side and sermonic-rhetorical tradition on the other were joined in Slovenian Baroque sermon, while also reaching very remote areas, firmly taking root in Slovene people’s spirituality.
