Description
Based on a “newly discovered” deed, the author complemented the genealogy of the free lords of Žovnek and revised some fi ndings relating to their history. New fi ndings refer mostly to Countess Margaret, the widow of Leopold III of Žovnek, who was thus far believed to have been a member of the Counts of Heunburg and later on married Count Ulrich IV of Pfannberg. The article refutes the identity of the Countess Margaret of Heunburg-Pfannberg as Leopold’s eponymous wife, who was after her husband’s death married to Hugo of Teufen, who for a while acted as governor of Posavinje.

- Avtor na podlagi »novoodkrite« listine dopolnjuje genealoško podobo rodbine svobodnih gospodov Žovneških in korigira nekatera dognanja iz njihove zgodovine. Nova spoznanja se navezujejo predvsem na grofi co Marjeto, vdovo po Leopoldu III. Žovneškem, za katero je doslej veljalo, da je pripadala rodbini vovbrških grofov in bila pozneje poročena z grofom Ulrikom IV. Pfannberškim. Prispevek izpodbija identičnost Vovbrško-Pfannberške grofice Marjete z istoimensko Leopoldovo soprogo, ki je bila po njegovi smrti poročena s Hugom iz Teufna, nekaj časa vršilcem funkcije glavarja Posavinja.
