Julius Ritter Fränzl Noble of Vesteneck (1845– 1931), Doctor of Law, owner of the Mirna castle in the region of Dolenjska, district governor of Litija from August 1875 onwards, and member of the Carniolan provincial diet from 1876 onwards, was one of provincial offi ce-holders who regarded Slovenes with disfavour. Slovene representatives submitted several interpellations against Vesteneck in the Carniolan provincial diet and in the state parliament.
