The article, based on the archives material, surveys the activity of the Ljubljana Workers' Educational
Society in the years 1882 to 1884 when it became radically orientated under the leadership
of France Železnikar, Ferdinand Tuma, France Sturm, and Edvard Kriegl. The author also gives
a more detailed account of the development of the Klagenfurt trial against a group of Ljubljana
workers' leaders, charged with being anarchists.
