Description
On the basis of historical and mainly newspaper materials important events have been selected to present political, syndicate and social organisation and activity of the population in the district Slovenj Gradec in the period from 1929 to 1941. Parties performing activities in the mentioned district were the following: The Yugoslav radical peasant democracy (Jugoslovanska radikalna kmečka demokracija), namely the Yugoslav national party (Jugoslovanska nacionalna stranka), Yugoslav national Party (Bodjer's) (Jugoslovanska narodna stranka), Slovene people's party (Slovenska ljudska stranka), namely the Slovene part of the Yugoslav radical community (Jugoslovanska radikalna zajednica). Followers of the disintegrated Socialist party of Yugoslavia (Socialistična stranka Jugoslavije) joined in the so-called socialst movement Also active were the peasant movement - the Peasantry alliance (Kmečka zveza), a catholic trade organisation The alliance of united workers (Zveza združenih delavcev), and of the educationalcultural organisations youth organisations had an important role. The purpose of this proceeding is to contribute to further micro research of the mentioned region.
