Description
The author belives that a comparative study of individual Communist Parties in the years 1939—1941 would be necessary and attempts to reconstruct, and analyse the standpoints of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia on the basis of published and archival sources. In distinction from the temperate views held by Tito at the end of September 1939, Milovan Djilas wrote and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia approved of without Tito, the so-called October theses on the international and internal situation. The theses attacked the Social Democrats as the »agents of British and French imperialism-«.

      • Uvodni referat na okrogli mizi jugoslovanskih in britanskih zgodovinarjev v Londonu od 13. do 15. decembra 1982 obravnava poreklo in razvoj stališč komunistične partije Jugoslavije do Velike Britanije od začetka druge svetovne vojne do prihoda prve britanske vojne misije v vrhovni štab Narodnoosvobodilne vojske in partizanskih odredov Jugoslavije. Razprava je zasnovana na nekaterih neznanih arhivskih, natiskanih virih in na Zbranih delih Josipa Broza Tita. Podobno kot druge komunistične partije je tudi KPJ sledila direktivam Kominteme po paktu Hitler-Stalin, vendar je zlasti po premirju s Francijo poleti 1940 naglašala borbo proti nemškim in italijanskim imperialistom, nasprotovala pa udeležbi Jugoslavije v vojni na račun Velike Britanije.
