Description
Drawing on the published works of the Slovene economic theorists and newspaper articles the author analyzes the ideas on the economic aspect of the self-determination of Slovenes at the end of World War I. He deals with the economic concepts of the authors who belonged to different ideological currents and parties. He establishes that their proposals for the salvation of the Slovene nation and its social and political perspectives were in accordance with the Slovene national tendencies as expressed at the time by the Slovene bourgeoisie in the struggle for national, political and economic independence. Economic self-determination was regarded as a stipulation of self-determination also in the political sphere.
