Description
The Litija area was encircled by two important traffic routes; in the north this was the Sava River until the 19th century and later the Southern Railway, and in the south a section of the Zagreb state road linking Ljubljana with Novo mesto and Zagreb. Connections between the two traffic routes were extremely poor; therefore each one fed only its immediate surroundings, which in turn raised the question regarding the construction and maintenance of local roads and routes.

      • Litijski prostor sta omejevali dve pomembni prometnici.
