Description
In his discussion the author deals with the organizational structure, scope and substance of communist cultural and educational societies active in the Slovene part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes. At the very beginning of the period in question Communists were outlawed, therefore nonpolitical societies proved to be one of the most suitable forms of non-statutory activity. The discussion is part and parcel of an extensive study of cultural and educational activity among Slovene workers in the 1920s.

- Razprava se omejuje na organiziranost, količino in vsebino dela komunističnih kulturno prosvetnih društev v slovenskem delu Kraljevine SHS. Ker so bili komunisti že na samem začetku obdobja postavljeni izven zakona, so se nepolitična društva pokazala kot ena najprimernejših oblik tudi izven statutarnega delovanja. Razprava je del širše raziskave kulturno prosvetne dejavnosti med slovenskim delavstvom v tej dobi.
