The author, using official records, analyses the resettlement from Slovenia to Voivodina implemented within the post-war agrarian reform in Yugoslavia. He examines a census of 575 families (with a total of 2,353 individuals) resettled by April 1946 in five villages in the Banat along the border with Rumania. Special attention is paid to their geographic and social or professional backgrounds as well as the reverse process - their return to Slovenia for both climatic and social reasons.
