Description
The contribution deals with the recruit-ment and training system of the British Special Operations Executive (SOE). SOE’s Spe-cial Training Schools trained candidates in sabotage, wireless telegraphy and parachuting. SOE agents had at their disposal an extensive choice of internal collection of weapons, equi-pment and gadgets used in clandestine warfare. Although SOE used an efficient training system, weapons and equipment, its objective of sparking resistance in the occupied Europe was not entirely attained.
