Description
The paper outlines the attitude of the dissolved Yugoslav Social Democratic Party and, with it, the Slovene Social Democrats with regards to the royal dictatorship, introduced on January 6, 1929, as well as their plans for the future political activity. This is followed by a neat presentation of the activities of the trade union movement, both under the auspices of the Professional Commission and in the framework of cooperatives, especially the Consumers Society for Slovenia. In the field of education and culture, Svoboda (Liberty), the central organization, and its branches endeavoured to develop and strengthen their structures, establish close links with professional organizations and build-up the so-called proletarian culture.

      • Razprava oriše odnos razpuščene Socialistične stranke Jugoslavije oz. socialne demokracije na Slovenskem do šestojanuarske diktature in opredelitev njenih nalog v prihodnje. Pregledno je predstavljena dejavnost v sindikalnem gibanju pod okriljem strokovne komisije na gospodarsko-zadružnem področju, posebej v okviru Konzumnega društva za Slovenijo. Na prosvetno-kulturnem področju so si matična zveza Svoboda in njene podružnice prizadevale za izpopolnitev in utrditev svojih organizacijskih struktur, tesnejšo povezanost s strokovnimi organizacijami in graditev t.i. proletarske kulture.
