Description
In the first part of the paper the author presents in detail the life and professional activity of one of the founders of the Southeastern institute in Munich and one of the most important German researchers of the problems of SE Europe and thereby of both Yugoslavia and Slovenia. The second part describes the activities of this institute which through its publications as well as its scientific research has significantly contributed to our understanding of German policy toward Southeast.

      • Avtor v prvem delu razprave podrobno prikazuje življenje in strokovno dejavnost Fritza Valjavca, enega od ustanoviteljev Inštituta za jugovzhod v Münchnu in enega najpomembnejših nemških raziskovalcev problematike jugovzhodne Evrope in s tem tako Jugoslavije kot Slovenije. V drugem delu razprava oriše dejavnost tega inštituta, ki ima velik pomen za poznavanje nemške jugovzhodne politike tako s svojimi publikacijami kot tudi s svojo znanstvenoraziskovalno dejavnostjo.
