Description
Franc Pirc is one of the most important but not the only Slovene agrarian practician and theoretician of the 19th century. In that time, his agrarian fellows passed over from feudalism to early capitalism. In regard of his Carniolian origin Pirc - besides stockbreeding and forestry - was especially promoting fruit growing, which was for his narrow homeland the most important agrarian branch.
