Description
Based on new data traced in sources it was possible to precisely define certain data concerning the biography of Johann Weichard Valvasor: the date of the death of Bartholomeus Valvasor, Johann Weichard's father, which is January 15, 1651; the date of the application of Johann Weichard for the admission into the aristocratic feudal cavalry, which is October 9, 1671 (the decree concerning this was written on December 19, 1671), and thus the final year of his youthful travels; and the date of Johann VVeichard Valvasor's appointment for infantry captain of the Dolenjsko (Lower Carniola) quarter of Carniola, which is September 19, 1680.

- Na osnovi v virih eruiranih podatkov je bilo mogoče precizirati nekatere podatke iz biografije Janeza Vajkarda Valvasorja, in to datum smrti Jerneja Valvasorja, očeta Janeza Vajkarda, ki je 15. januar 1651, datum prošnje Janeza Vajkarda za sprejem v plemiško fevdalno konjenico, ki je 9. oktober 1671 (dekret o tem so napisali 19. decembra), in s tem končno letnico njegovih mladostnih potovanj, ter datum imenovanja Janeza Vajkarda Valvasorja za kapetana pešcev dolenjske četri Kranjske, ki je 19. september 1680.
