The contribution deals with the reasons, events and consequences of nullifying the German national community in Slovenia after 1945. Legal regulations in this field are dealt with, attainable statistic data on their numerical power and economic losses are compared and some peculiarities referring to procedures of Yugoslav authorities during the time of liquidation of this national community are defined. Those events are put into the context of unnegligible nazification of Germans in Slovenia and the belief of collective guilt of Germans for the Second World War.
