Whereas the leadership of the Slovene national policy in Carniola was pretty stiff, unenterprising, cautious and conservative in the time after constitution life restoration, people of »political action« and freethinking views prevailed in the national policy in Styria. The national party in Styria comes with more or less open liberal visor to the provincial parliament elections 1869. The leadership of the national party submitts to the demands of the Catholic wing only before the provincial parliament elections 1870. Because of the liberal offensive against a concordat, the catholic wings namely demands from the leadership of the Slovene policy to defend their interests as well. The reason that otherwise liberal leadership of national policy at the elections to the provincial parliament 1870 in the world view questions surrenders to the demands of the catholic wing, is also the policy of German constitution supporters, whose offers to young Slovenes to found a cammon front against »black rabble« are not sincere at all.
