Description
The contribution leans on stresses from the article the author published on the 20th anniversary of Yugoslavia (1938). The author defends the theses on the then historical developement. A breaking event is to his oppinion the decay of Austro-Hungaria and not unification into the Kingdom of SHS. 29th of october is more important than 1st december 1918, as it brought liberation and hope for a better life in the new community, although the liberation was derogated with the plebiscite in Carinthia and with Rapal treaty.

      • Prispevek se opira na poudarke iz članka, ki ga je avtor objavil ob dvajsetletnici nastanka Jugoslavije (1938). Tako kot takrat tudi danes avtor brani teze o tedanjem zgodovinskem razvoju. Prelomni dogodek je razpad Avstro-Ogrske in ne zedinjenje v Kraljevino SHS. 29. oktober 1918 je pomembnejši od 1. decembra 1918, ker je prinesel osvoboditev in upanje na boljše življenje v novi skupnosti, čeprav je bila osvoboditev okrnjena s plebiscitom na Koroškem in Rapalsko pogodbo.
