The analysis of the textbook writing contents above all the remarks referring to the historical presentation of ethnic problematics, whereas contemporary aspects treatment has been summerized shortly. Treatment of the Slovenes abroad and relations among the nations are, as for the contents and the extent, in the curriculum properly presented, but it is atomized into various school subjects. Therefore it comes to frequent repetitions, whereas the knowledge of the pupils remains unsystematized and superficial. In treating the Slovene nation and the geographical phenomenon of Slovenia some texthooks omlt the Slovenes abroad, the Slovenes temporary working abroad and emigration. Much too often the Hungarians, Italians, Romas and immigrants from the south Yugoslav republics ih Slovenia have been neglected.
