Description
After a detailed analysis of the paper of N. Klaić On Problems of Old Homeland, the Coming and Christianisation of Dalmatian Croats, ZČ 38, 1984, 253—270, and after a resumed analysis of De administrando imperio and the role and position of Croats in Carantania, the author's opinion that Carantania is the old homeland of Croats from where they were supposed to migrate at the end of the 8th century, is being rejected. Regarding the liberation and christianisation of Croats as interpreted by DAI the author again turns to the opinion of Dummler, who placed the events into the beginning of the 9th century and not into the 70-ies of the 9th century as Sišič does.

      • Ob podrobni razčlenitvi razprave N. Klaič, O problemima stare domovine, dolaska i pokrštenja dalmatinskih Hrvata, ZČ 38, 1984, 253—270, ter ob ponovni analizi De administrando imperio in vloge in mesta Hrvatov v Karantaniji, se zavrača njeno mnenje, da je Karantanija stara domovina Hrvatov, od koder naj bi se selili konec 8. stoletja. Glede osvoboditve in pokristjanjenja Hrvatov, kakor ju prinaša DAI, pa se zopet vrača na staro Dummlerjevo mišljenje, ki je te dogodke postavljal v začetek 9. in ne v 70. leta 9. stoletja kot Šišič.
