Description
A conference on the project History of nations and nationalities of Yugoslavia was held in Zagreb from 4th to 5th of June 1987. (The project is to be carried out in over 10 volumes as a rewrite of the first two books from 1953 and 1959, and their continuation from the end of the 18th century up to now). In the two discussion contributions (T. Raukar, M. Gros) along with a shallow and groundless critics of the first edition a new concept of work vvas proposed which was not consistant with the title nor with the character of the project that is demanded by the anticipated comprehension and with the millenial partition of the territory of the Yugoslav nations between different historical societies. The author rejects their standpoints and stresses that such a project can only be written as a history of nations withing the range of existing historical community integrities.
