Description
The theme is dealt with in more problem complexes: the formation of the Slovene-Roman ethnic boundary, connected with the Slav settlement as far as the eastern skirts of Friuli and to Istria; the second part treats the area of this boundary as a place where the Italic and the Franconinan-German type of feudalism met; the third complex describes the spreading and organization of Christianity and the Church southern of the river Drava and the meaning of Aquilea in this connection; the fourth and the fifth complexes in main features describe the economic and cultural boundary exceeding.

      • Tematika je obravnavana v več problemskih sklopih. Prvega predstavlja nastanek slovensko-romanske etnične meje, ki je zvezan s slovansko naselitvijo do vzhodnih robov Furlanije in v Istro. Drugi del obravnava prostor le meje kot kraj, kjer sta se srečevala italski in frankovsko-nemški tip fevdalizma. Tretji sklop je posvečen širjenju in organizaciji krščanstva in cerkve južno od Drave in pomenu Ogleja v tej zvezi. Četrti in peti sklop pa obravnavata v glavnih potezah gospodarsko in kulturno preseganje meje.
