Pavle Blaznik (June 28th, 1903, in Škofja Loka — June 13th, 1984, in Ljubljana) aimed a great deal of his attention at the researches of the history of the Loka region, which is thanks to him one of the most researched parts of Slovenia — from the historical point of view. As researcher of the agrarian history he published land registers of the Diocese Freising for the Slovene territory. Owing to him also the work on the material concerning the historical topography for Styria is neraly finished.

      • Pavle Blaznik (28. 6. 1903 Škofja Loka — 13. 6. 1984 Ljubljana) je velik del svoje pozornosti usmeril v raziskave zgodovine loškega ozemlja, ki prav po njegovi zaslugi spada med zgodovinsko najbolj raziskane predele Slovenije. Kot raziskovalec agrarne zgodovine je objavil freisinške urbarje za slovensko ozemlje. Po njegovi zaslugi pa je tudi skoraj dokončano delo na gradivu za historično topografijo Štajerske.
