Prof. Dr. Metod Mikuž (22/12/1909—9/04/1982) joined the national liberation movement already in 1941 as a doctor of divinity, and remained in its leadership till the liberation in 1945; among other activities he took part at the historical 2nd session of the Anti-fascist Council of National Liberation of Yugoslavia in November 1943. After he got his doctorate in history (in 1946) he became Professor of the world, Yugoslav and Slovene history after 1917 at Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. He wrote numerous treatises and book surveys which form the basis for the further studies of the period after the First World War, especially of the national liberation war in Slovenia and Yugoslavia. — The bibliography quotes the historical works by Dr. Mikuž in thematic chapters, while inside these chapters the units are classified chronologically.
