Description
Using the newspaper Celjske slovenske novine (later on Celske novine, Slovenske novine), published from July 1848 till the end of 1849 as information source the author describes the economic, political and social life of the town at that tirne. Celje showed, in contrast to Maribor, a rather Slovene orientation in that period.
