In his treatise the author analyses the changes of the state of history due to the school reforms after the 2nd World War, especially to the reform introducing the profession oriented education, their reflection on the study of history at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana and at other faculties within the University of Edvard Kardelj as well as the reflection on the orientation of the Slovene historical science. In his analysis the author takes into account the treatises and resolutions from the meetings of the Slovene and Yugoslav historians, of the professorships, as well as from the symposia on history lessons in grammar schools since 1945.
