Description
In his treatise the author analyses the changes of the state of history due to the school reforms after the 2nd World War, especially to the reform introducing the profession oriented education, their reflection on the study of history at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana and at other faculties within the University of Edvard Kardelj as well as the reflection on the orientation of the Slovene historical science. In his analysis the author takes into account the treatises and resolutions from the meetings of the Slovene and Yugoslav historians, of the professorships, as well as from the symposia on history lessons in grammar schools since 1945.

- Ob upoštevanju razprav in resolucij na zborovanjih slovenskih in jugoslovanskih zgodovinarjev, na medkatedrskih sestankih ter simpozijih o zgodovini na srednji šoli od 1945 naprej analizira avtor spremembe položaja zgodovine ob povojnih Šolskih reformah, zlasti po uvedbi usmerjenega izobraževanja, posledice teh reform za študij zgodovine na Filozofski fakulteti v Ljubljani in na drugih fakultetah Univerze Edvarda Kardelja ter s tem zvezane posledice za usmerjenost slovenske zgodovinske znanosti. Zgodovina starejših obdobij do 19. stoletja se je pri raziskovanjih poglobila, vendar za srednji vek že izrazito primanjkuje mlajših znanstvenih delavcev, zgodovinsko delo na 19. in zlasti 20. stoletju se je po obsegu bistveno razširilo, vendar zlasti po 1920 prevladuje faktografsko in dogodkovno-zgodovinsko raziskovanje, obdobje po 1945 pa je s strani zgodovinarjev močno zanemarjeno.
