A survey of foreign historical literature, acquired in 1977 by the »Narodna in univerzitetna knjižnica« (National and University Library), by the library of the educational-scientific unit for history at the Faculty of Arts, by the library of the »Slovenska akademija znanosti in umetnosti« (Slovene Academy of Arts and Sciences), by the library of the »Institut za narodnostna vprašanja« (Institute for Ethnic Problems), by the library of the »Inštitut za zgodovino delavskega gibanja« (Institute for the History of Worker's Movement), is composed in the same way as in previous years. Literature is arranged according to countries or groups of countries or according to nations, and it is headed by the group »General Works«. In cases when the groups are large, the groups are subdivided too. At the end of each description the abbreviation of the library, where the book is to be found, is given, as well as the call number of the book in a particular library.
