Description
The arlicle presents a survey of politics and position of the Slovenes, during the period of reign of Count Edvard Taaffe (1879—1893), vvho vvere a part of the parliamentary government majority; further on, the Austrian parliament of that time is being discussed, the embetterment of the Slovene position in Carniola and a less favourable situation in Styria and Carinthia; the abandonment of the programme of Slovene unification and demands for establishment of higher provincial court in Ljubljana or a special departmenl of provincial government for the Slovenian part of Styria, the clerical-liberal and other differences in the Slovene bourgeois camp.

- Članek daje pregled politike in položaja Slovencev za časa vlade grofa Edvarda Taaffeja (1879—1893), ki so bili del parlamentarne vladne večine, razpravlja o avstrijskem parlamentu v tem času, poboljšanju slovenskega položaja na Kranjskem ter manj ugodnem položaju na Štajerskem in Koroškem, opustitvi programa zedinjenje Slovenije ter zahtevah po ustanovitvi višjega deželnega sodišča v Ljubljani ali posebnem oddelku namestništva za slovenski del Štajerske, o klerikalno-liberalnih ter drugih diferencah v slovenskem meščanskem taboru.
