Description
The author dwells at some length on three central problems concerning Medieval Ptuj. Finding that the period during which Ptuj remained unmentioned in historical sources was relatively short, he assumes that the settlement must in all probability have continued from the antiquity to the Middle Ages. Further, the author discusses the historical development of Ptuj up to the middle of the fifteenth century.

      • Avtor se zadrži predvsem na treh ključnih problemih srednjeveškega Ptuja. Obravnava vprašanje naselitvene kontinuitete iz antike v srednji vek in ugotovi, da je doba, ko viri o Ptuju molče, le sorazmerno kratka in zato meni, da je naselbinska kontinuiteta vsekakor zelo verjetna. Sledi prikaz zgodovinskega razvoja Ptuja do srede 15. stoletja.
