On the basis of the literature, written mostly by non-historians, the authortried to make an outline of the role and importance of the socio political organizations in Slovenia after the Liberation. He described the role and importance of the three most important socio-political organizations the League of Communists, the Socialist Alliance of Working People and theTrade Union Federation. He starts from the constitutional provisions on socio-political organizations and points out to their real position. At the end the author also describes the role of the socio-political organizations withinthe assembly system, which is a novelty, having been introduced into political life by the constitution of 1974.
