Description
The autorcss deals with formation and development of Agencies for Home Affairs of
the Republic of Slovenia in the period 1945-1963. The tasks referring to home
affairs were performed by the Department for Home Affairs at the Presidency of the
Slovene National Liberation Council from February 1944 to May 1945, by the Home
Office from May 1945 to March 1952 and by the State Secretariat for Home Affairs
from 1952 to 1963. The fields of activities of different agencies are described - from
the National Protection, later national respectively people's militia, to the department
for execution of a sentence, administration department. Also the relation between
the section for home affairs and the department for nation protection respectively
later between the public and state security is described.

- The autorcss deals with formation and development of Agencies for Home Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia in the period 1945-1963. - Avtorica v svojem referatu obravnava nastanek in razvoj Organov za notranje zadeve Republike Slovenije v obdobju 1945-1963. V obravnavanem razdobju so naloge notranjih zadev opravljali Odsek za notranje zadeve pri Predsedstvu SNOS od februarja 1944 do maja 1945, Ministrstvo za notranje zadeve od maja 1945 do marca 1952 in Državni sekretariat za notranje zadeve od 1952 do 1963 leta. V referatu so opisana področja delovanja od Narodne zaščite, kasneje narodne oz. ljudske milice do oddelka za izvrševanje kazni, upravnega oddelka kakor tudi razmerje med odsekom za notranje zadeve in oddelkom za zaščito naroda oz. kasneje med javno in državno varnostjo.
