Description
In this contribution the author gives at first a frame survey of organization of partisan military judicature in Slovenia in the period 1941 -1945, and then deals with the problems ofdocumentation, created by the activity of partisan courts - martial. He states that records administration of partisan courts - martial were regulated with standing orders, settling their arganization and administration. From this aspect the Instruction about Courts - Martial Administration is of special significance, because courts-martial were given precise instructions not only about the kinds of registers which had to be kept obligatorily, but also how the records had to be classified and kept. It was passed by the judical department at the NOV and POJ Headquarters (NOV - National Liberation War, POJ - Partisan Detachments of Yugoslavia) on September 8, 1944.
