Description
The article deals with the general characteristics of paper as the carrier of written cultural heritage, as well as the basic factors causing the ageing of paper, and the written information it carries, which influence its durability and permanence. The author also looks into the slandardisation of durable sorts of paper in Slovenia and abroad and recent proposals for the adoption of technical regulations and the corresponding legal norms governing the use of durable sorts of paper as carriers of information.

      • V prispevku so predstavljene splošne značilnosti papirja kot nosilca kulturne dediščine, osnovni vzroki, ki povzročajo staranje papirja in gradiva na papirju ter vplivajo na njegovo trajnost in obstojnost, dejavnosti na področju standardizacije trajnejših vrst papirja tako v tujini kot doma in predlogi za sprejem tehničnih predpisov oziroma urejanje ustrezne zakonske regulative v Sloveniji pri uporabi trajnejših vrst papirja kot nosilca informacije.
