Description
In 1988 restoration work was begun on a badly damaged register owned by the parish of Korte. situated just outside of Izola. The damage suffered by the books was so severe that they could not be used. The process of restoration was extremely lengthy and demanding, as the pages of the register had already deteriorated to a great extent. The restoration work was enhanced by the use of a machine for adding cellulose pulp. The article gives a detailed description of the restoration work done on the books Status Animariuni from the 19lh century and on the parish register for the years 1816-1855.

      • V letu 1998 smo začeli konservatorska dela na hudo poškodovanih matičnih knjigah v lasti župnije Korte nad Izolo. Knjige so bile tako poškodovane, da uporaba ni bila mogoča. Konservatorsko-restavratorski postopki so bili zaradi močno preperelih listov izjemno zahtevni in dolgotrajni. Za restavriranje tega gradiva smo postopek restavriranja izpopolnili s strojem za dolivanje celulozne pulpe. Natančno je opisan konservatorskorestavratorski postopek pri knjigah Status Animarum iz 19. stoletja in pri Krstni knjigi 1816-1855.
